Sprinkle the peaches with the flour mixture. Use a pastry blender or fork to blend in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse meal. In a small bowl stir together the flour, 2 Tbsp white sugar, 2 Tbsp brown sugar, baking powder and salt. Toss well so that the peaches are coated. To make the cobbler in the oven: add the drained peaches, 1 Tbsp white sugar, 1 Tbsp brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon juice and cornstarch to a square baking dish. If you don’t have an air fryer lid you can make the cobbler in the oven. The top should be golden brown.Įquipment needed: a trivet, pot-in-pot dish and an air fryer lid. Set the air fry button to 6 minutes at 375 degrees.

Place the air fryer lid on top of the Instant Pot.

When time is up move valve to venting and remove the lid. Set the manual/pressure cook button to 10 minutes. Lower the pot-in-pot dish on top of the trivet.

Pour 1 ½ cups water in the bottom of the Instant Pot.

Don’t tell my family though because I might eat the whole thing by myself. I really want to make this again tonight! I have an extra can of peaches so I just might. Deep dish desserts do not work well in the Instant Pot. However I would suggest using the oven instructions if you double it.

If you’d like to double the recipe you can. If you’d like you can also use fresh or frozen peaches. Because I chose to use canned peaches it came together very quickly. The cobbler tastes amazing with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. I’m in love with this easy southern peach cobbler! It’s got the perfect amount of sweetness…it’s not overly sugary.
